Marine Le Pen has been sentenced to four years in prison, two of which are suspended, and a five-year ineligibility sentence with immediate provisional execution. The leader of the National Rally of the French National Party (RN) and eight MEPs were found guilty of misappropriation of public funds in the European parliamentary assistants case.
